Interested in becoming a Mentor?
Come to our next Mentor event to find out more information and meet existing mentors!
ARISE High School is looking for volunteers to become mentors for their 2011 Senior Class.
We are seeking individuals who will make a one-year commitment to the ARISE Mentorship Program. Monthly workshops and events will be facilitated throughout the school year to allow students and mentors to work together.
About the ARISE Mentor Program:
ARISE kicked-off its first Mentorship Program in 2009. As every student in ARISE's first graduating class will be a first-generation college student, the Mentorship Program was created to assist students through the college application process. The Mentorship Program pairs up Seniors with a mentor for a period of one school year. Mentors work one-on-one with students, helping them with their personal statements and college and scholarship applications.
If you can't make the event but are still interested in becoming a mentor, please contact Kawai at volunteer@arisehighschool.org
