ARISE High School's second year is almost over! This year students have built simple machines, snowboarded, selected their dream houses and figured out their financing, written ten page research papers on civil rights issues, gone dragonboating and backpacking, created films, read numerous books, participated in internships, taken classes at Laney College, presented their Bridges to move to our Senior Institue, and undertaken their first "Proficiency Presentations": a series of projects and presentations they need to defend to graduate from ARISE High School. Come see their work and celebrate the close of our second year this Thursday, June 18th! We hope to see you there!
