Exhibition Night December 2008t our end-of-semester Exhibition Night. Ninth grade students in Chris Lester's biology classes presented their research about different environmental issues; tenth graders showed the products of the power tools they used to create planter boxes in Leah Herrera's geometry classes; and eleventh graders demonstrated their catapults from Manny Medina's math and physics classes. Other highlights of ARISE students' work on show at Exhibition Night include i-movies about students' futures from Willi Sanchez's humanities classes, a magazine, artwork and essays created in Manjira Datta, Nina Correas, and Yesenia Haro's tenth grade humanities and Spanish classes, and a photo documentary and research about Oakland history created for Kate Sugarman's eleventh grade humanities classes.
