Emmanuel "Manny" Medina likes long walks on the beach, sunset
picnics, and puppies. His turnoffs are rainy days, too much make up,
and bad breath. He works out at 24-hour Fitness, concentrating on his
gluts.
Emmanuel "Manny" Medina joins ARISE High School as a math and physics
teacher. He brings eight years of teaching experience and two years
with the Coalition of Essential Schools working with Laura Flaxman.
He immigrated from the Philippines at a young age and became the
first in his family to graduate from American Universities, earning
his Bachelor's Degree from UC Santa Cruz and his Master's from
Stanford University. Manny is the also the lucky husband of Shane
Safir and proud father of Mona Luz Medina-Saifr (genius toddler).
